This piece pairs a genuine fossil shark tooth — left completely natural, every shade and ripple exactly as it came out of the ground — with a small natural seashell, wire-wrapped together on a gold-plated paperclip chain.
The shell and the tooth come from two completely different creatures, two different points in time, and they were never meant to end up on the same chain. But that's the whole point — the ocean doesn't sort things into neat categories. It just keeps everything that survives.
