CARING FOR YOUR GOLD PLATED CHAIN & PEARL
• Remove before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying lotion, perfume, and hairspray — moisture and chemicals are the fastest way to wear down gold plating and dull pearls
• Put your jewelry on last, after makeup and skincare are finished
• Wipe the chain gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue
• Wipe the pearl separately with a soft, barely damp cloth — pearls are organic and can lose their luster if body oils and perspiration are left on them
• Store flat or hanging in a dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or lined box, away from direct sunlight and humidity
• Avoid tossing it in with other jewelry — chains and clasps can scratch or tangle against harder pieces
• Gold plating will naturally soften in shine over time with wear; this is normal and not a flaw — gentle care will keep it looking its best for years
